Electricity-Fillmore City established its own electric utility in 1918 and presently has 1,150 customers. The city owns a portion of the Hunter Power Plant in Emery County, San Juan Power Plant in Arizona, and IPP in Delta. Also a contract with CRSP provides the city with power from Glen Canyon Dam. These power generating plants, as well as several other sources, provide Fillmore a dependable source of electricity. Also the city is a long standing member of Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS). The city's electric system is maintained through a contract by Flowell Electric Association.

The system is maintained by the city.
